Dance educators play an important role in the lives of their students. At Frame Dance, we are committed to equipping teachers with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to prepare their students to thrive on and off the dance floor. Our teaching methods are rooted in child psychology and the latest research on early childhood brain development. Through workshops, immersions, and mentorship, we offer instructors a holisitc new approach to thriving in their classes.

WORKSHOPS

Dive deep into essential topics like early childhood brain development, social-emotional learning (SEL), and classroom management techniques. These workshops provide actionable insights you can implement immediately, giving you the confidence to handle any classroom scenario.

TEACHER TRAINING IMMERSION

This is a 10-day program offered at our home studio in Houston, TX.

ABOUT ASHLEY

 

Ashley Horn is a dance educator, curriculum writer, costume designer, choreographer, and installation artist based in Houston, TX. She has been teaching dance, with a focus on early childhood, neural development, and pedagogy for over 20 years in public schools, studios and community centers. In addition, she teaches Mindfulness and Social Emotional Learning at the elementary and middle school levels throughout the Houston Independent School District.

Ashley has a BA in Public Relations/Advertising with a minor in dance from the University of Houston. She has guest taught at Rice University, University of Houston, and Houston Community College.
